Pre-Check Functionality

This guide explains how to use the Pre-Check Feature for simplified verification of counterparties with plain clear and straightforward results: Low Risk, Medium Risk, High Risk.
Pre-Check Feature is available both on the web and mobile applications.

How to Use the Pre-Check 

1. Accessing Pre-Checks

Navigate to the Counterparties section in the left-side menu.

Click on the Pre-Checks tab at the top of the screen.


 


2. Starting a New Pre-Check

You can initiate a pre-check in three ways:

  1. From Counterparties dashboard:

    1. On the Counterparties dashboard locate the Pre-Checks tab and click the ‘+ New Pre-Check’ button 



  1. On the ‘New Counterparty’ page 




  1. On the existing Counterparty page




  1. From Payments:

    1. On the ‘New Payment’ page for SEPA and International payment methods  





  1. From Dashboard:

    1. On the Overview dashboard locate the Pre-Checks section and click the + New Pre-Check button.





3. Providing Counterparty Information

Fill out the brief details about the counterparty: 

•. For Private Counterparty: Full Name, Country, Address, etc


For Corporate Counterparty: Company Name, Registration number, Country, etc.




⚠️ Ensure counterparty information is accurate to avoid delays in processing.



⚠️ Notification of the Pre-Check Service


Paysaxas is introducing the Pre-Check service in a trial mode. The purpose of this service is to provide you with an opportunity to conduct an initial assessment of your counterparty when making a payment and to obtain a general overview of their risk profile. We recommend providing as much information as possible about the counterparty to achieve a more representative result.

Below are the key terms of use and disclaimers for the service. Please review them carefully. By continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Pre-Check service is an experimental project, and Paysaxas does not guarantee the continuous and stable operation of the service.

2. The Customer is granted a limited number of checks per month, the quantity of which is determined and may be adjusted at the discretion of Paysaxas.

3. The Pre-Check service relies on publicly available sources, and its results may contain inaccuracies due to potential matches with other entities, technical errors and other factors which are beyond Paysaxas' control.

4. Paysaxas does not guarantee the accuracy of the Pre-Check service results, and the customer waives any claims related to the service’s outcome.

5. The customer must not rely solely on the Pre-Check results when making payments and should exercise their own judgment and comply with applicable anti-money laundering and other regulatory requirements.

6. Customers are prohibited from publishing the results of the Pre-Check service or sharing them with third parties.

7. When analysing an individual, the Customer must have legitimate reasons or other grounds for processing the counterparty’s personal data as per data protection regulations applicable to the customer.

4. Viewing Pre-Check Results


  • Once the pre-check is sent status or result will be shown 





  • At Counterparties Dashboard-Pre-Checks Section:

  


  1. In Progress 

Indicates that the pre-check is currently being processed.

No final result is available yet.

  1. Completed:

The pre-check process has finished.

A final result: 

Green: Low risk,  

Yellow: Medium risk, 

Red: High risk
